Quick Shoes​

There are special shoes called AI moon walker shoes that use technology to improve walking. They analyze how you walk, provide personalized feedback, and help prevent injuries. They adjust to different styles and situations, but need proper technology and charging for full benefits.

Activity Introduction

Watch this video about special shoes that have Artificial Intelligence (AI) built in. These shoes are called AI moon walker shoes. They use technology to make walking better! The shoes can analyze how you walk and give you personalized feedback to help you walk with better posture and make your steps more efficient. They also help prevent injuries by detecting problems and giving you tips in real-time. These shoes can even adjust to different walking styles, different places, and different situations, making them perfect for you! Just remember, these shoes need technology to work properly, so if something goes wrong or they are not charged enough, they may not give you all the benefits.

How do metacognitive skills help you think about different situations

  • How do you feel about shoes that use special technology to help you walk better? What are some cool things you think AI moonwalker shoes can do to make walking more fun or easier for you?

  • How do you think it would feel to have shoes that can give you personalized tips and help you walk in the best way for your body?

  • What do you think shoes might be like in the future? How could AI technology and other advancements make shoes even better? Can you think of any other ways that technology could help us with our everyday activities besides walking?

Activity Tips

  1. Remind the students to write down words they don’t understand or questions that immediately come to mind about the topic they’re watching.

  2. Tell them to be ready to share with their group.



Step 2:
Group Session

After the video, divide students into groups of 3 or 4 and let the students begin their discussions while you circulate; it’s all about what THEY think and feel. Ask them to listen carefully to their friends as they might have different opinions to them.

Step 3:
Assessment

Ask the students:

  • Ask the students who they believe the best listeners and best team players are from this activity. 

  • Ask them to justify their answers in a simple sentence. 

  • Explain to them that the idea is everyone improves both their listening and teamwork skills over time.

  • Ask the students to summarize the video in 6-8 words only.
